Australian Taxation Office
About

Their role is to effectively manage and shape the tax, excise and superannuation systems that support Australians and makes Australia strong.

The ATO works everyday for the benefit of all Australians. As part of this work, they are always looking for new and diverse ways of providing information to meet the ever changing communication needs of the community.

They will share content on a regular basis to keep you informed on the latest news on tax and super information.

The ATO is a non-corporate Commonwealth entity within the Treasury portfolio and serves two Ministers:

  • Treasurer, the Hon Scott Morrison MP
  • Minister for Revenue and Financial Services, the Hon Kelly O'Dwyer MP.

The ATO is led by Chris Jordan AO, Commissioner of Taxation and Registrar of the Australian Business Register, and is supported by the Executive Committee and various other corporate committees.
