Autopistas Urbanas, S.A. (AUSA) is a public limited company whose principal shareholder is the Government of the City of Buenos Aires. Their company integrates the Public Sector of the City and is reached by the internal and external control systems of the City of Buenos Aires.
Their activities, which are permanently audited, play a double role. On the one hand they maintain and exploit the highways; And on the other, they function as a road builder.
According to Law No. 3060, established in 2009, they allocate up to 40% of the money raised to the maintenance of their highways; 5% is used for the permanent fund of the extension of subways; And the remaining percentage is invested in public works commissioned by the Government of the City of Buenos Aires.
