The Autostar Group, in the people of the Boccanelli family represented by the third generation, after over 50 years of collaboration with the Mercedes-Benz brand and following the latter’s decision to enter directly into the retail market in Rome and other major European cities, began in 2002 a new exciting adventure with the American group Ford Motor Company then also owner of Land Rover, Jaguar and Volvo.
Precisely on April 20, 2002, in fact, the first Ford showroom managed by Fordstar in Corso Francia was inaugurated, followed in 2003 by the opening of the Via Flaminia 1113 dealership. In 2004 at another location also in Via Flaminia he started working with JLR and Volvo. These are years of growth and consolidation, during which the company invests in men and means, committing itself above all to the relationship with customers and in the search for quality in every aspect of services and hospitality. This period culminates in 2009 with the year of state scrapping.
From then on, the deep crisis affecting the world economy and the car market in particular, imposes a different attitude in doing business, with the awareness that the transformations caused by economic difficulties and the changed needs of people would have irreversible effects. Attention to detail, people and their needs, albeit at such a difficult time, are becoming even more central to Autostar’s strategy.
The growth of all employees, thanks to their great commitment and a constant and intense training course, allows the company to overcome the difficult moment (the car market lost almost 50% of its value between 2012 and 2013) and to become today a reality with over 170 employees and 6 offices completely renovated according to the most up-to-date standards. All this to offer more and more customers a shopping and service experience that lives up to expectations, as evidenced by customer satisfaction surveys conducted by Ford, Volvo, Jaguar and Land Rover.
