AV Israel is the only recognized branch in Israel of the International Organization for the Deaf and the Hearing Impaired. AG BELL and its communications clinics are the only ones in Israel that are internationally accredited in specializing in rehabilitating hearing impaired children for speech and listening. AV Israel's ultimate goal is to fully integrate deaf and hearing-impaired children in regular schools towards independent living as full partners in the hearing world. Using innovative technologies combined with a unique treatment method ( the verbal-auditory approach ), they succeed in maximizing the communication potential of deaf children and integrating them into the hearing society. Hundreds of children born deaf, speak today and are educated in kindergartens and schools with hearing children. Graduates of the organization integrate and lead a regular life in society - serve in the army, study in educational frameworks on a thorough basis, and work in a variety of jobs.
