Baker Tilly Central Africa (Baker Tilly Zimbabwe, Baker Tilly Zambia, Baker Tilly Botswana and Baker Tilly Malawi) is a member of the global network of Baker Tilly International Ltd, the members of which are separate and independent legal entities.
Baker Tilly Central Africa traces its roots back to April 2001, when Phibion Gwatidzo founded Gwatidzo and Company Chartered Accountants in Harare, Zimbabwe, which became an independent member of Baker Tilly International in May 2007. They amalgamated with Ziumbe and Company Chartered Accountants January 2009, changing their name to Baker Tilly Gwatidzo in June 2010 and finally adopting Baker Tilly as their trading name February 2017. Today, they have a network of firms operating in Botswana,Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe, with seven full time partners supported by more than two hundred staff members in four countries.
