History

Baldwin Engineering, Was established by Mr. Esam Elkholy, in 1979 as an engineering & contracting company in the electro-mechanical field including steam and hot water boilers (all energy sources), heat exchangers, pumping stations, fuel oil tanks & systems, etc….

In the year 1982, our boiler & pressure vessels factory in Egypt was established, designed by Mrs. Ferial Elkholy, adopted know how by Mr. Dennis Baldwin (the founder of Dennis Baldwin & Sons Ltd. Now known as Byworth Boilers), and named (Baldwin Engineering) honoring the friendship between both founders in the UK & Egypt.

In 1984, an under license manufacturing agreement was signed, between Baldwin Engineering, Egypt & D.Baldwin & Sons Ltd., UK; opening a window to Egypt, Africa & Middles east for steam & hot water boilers being manufactured in Egypt under the full supervision of the Lloyds Register, Since then, more than 400 boilers & 3500 other products have been manufactured in our factory (to date March 2011).\

In 2001, Baldwin Engineering was approved as (Fusion Welded Pressure Vessels Class I manufacturer, includes design) from the L1oyd's register for marine applications (and still is)
