The Banco de Desarrollo Productivo - Sociedad Anónima Mixta is a first and second tier financial intermediation entity oriented to the promotion and financing of national productive development, regulated by the Supervisory Authority of the Financial System ASFI and constituted as a private law legal entity.
80% of its shares are owned by the Plurinational State of Bolivia and 20% by the Corporación Andina de Fomento - CAF. Operationally, it works on the first floor, second floor and technical assistance; and as a trust bank it manages autonomous public and private assets, with a AAA risk rating.
Consistent with its vision, the Banco de Desarrollo Productivo combines financing activities with technical assistance, under the conception that this is key to ensuring that financing has an impact on raising productivity, increasing production and reducing risks.
