About

Bangladesh Bureau of Education and Statistics (BANBEIS) is the only government agency for collecting, storing, distributing and disseminating education and statistics in the management of education of the country. Later, the organization has been honored with national and international organizations by producing and delivering educational information in association with continuous development in the field of education. At present, the institute is conducting ICT in education sector besides teaching and statistics activities. Is playing a major role in the promotion of training and education.

History

The great architect of the nation was formed under the guidance of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. In accordance with the recommendations made by Muhammad Kudrat-e-Khuda Education Commission, the 'Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics and Statistics (BANBEES)' was established as a separate educational institution in independent Bangladesh in the financial year 1-5. Although the organization started its activities in the rented house of Dhanmondi, shortly after the establishment, two bighas of valuable land was provided for the construction of a building (1 Zahir Raihan road) in the middle of some Palashi-Nilekhet road. Initially a two-storeyed building was built and now the building has been upgraded to five floors.
