Their mission is to provide efficient and affordable services through the use of modern technology for the development of land port infrastructure, handling and maintaining goods and employing operators in government partnership.

Some of their function includes, preparation of policy for management, management, development, expansion and conservation of land port; operator recruitment for taking, preserving and delivering goods at land ports; make a tax, toll, rate and fees adjustable from the land port users with the prior approval of the government; and fulfill the purpose of this law, make a contract with someone.
