PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Nusa Tenggara Timur abbreviated as PT Bank NTT (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) was established based on the ideas of the elders of East Nusa Tenggara Province, among others, WJ Lalamentik (First Governor of East Nusa Tenggara), Frans Seda, D. Paikun and JL Indradewa.

The company was established under the name PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Nusa Tenggara Timur based on Deed of Establishment Number: 12 dated 18 October 1961, drawn up before Casper Melchior Keluanan Amalo, Temporary Deputy Notary in Kupang. The East Nusa Tenggara Regional Development Bank began its activities as a bank on July 17, 1962 based on the Decree of the Minister of Finance and Central Bank No: BUM 9-13 / II dated February 5, 1962 concerning the Granting of Business Permits to PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Nusa Tenggara Timur, with position of business place in Kupang, the capital city of East Nusa Tenggara Province.

In order to make adjustments to the provisions in Law No. 13 of 1962 concerning Basic Provisions for Regional Development Banks (State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia of 1962 no. 59, Supplement to the State Gazette No.2490), the Provincial Government of East Nusa Tenggara stipulated a change in legal status. East Nusa Tenggara Regional Development Bank from Limited Liability Company to Regional Company through East Nusa Tenggara Regional Regulation No.01 / pd / DPRD-GR / 1963 dated 12 March 1963.

Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs No.1 of 1998 dated 4 February 1998 concerning the Legal Form of Regional Development Banks, the Company again changed its legal form from a Regional Company back to a Limited Liability Company. Changes in the legal entity of the Company are stipulated in the Regional Regulation of the Province of East Nusa Tenggara No.3 of 1999 dated March 26, 1999 concerning the Change in the Legal Form of the Nusa Tenggara Regional Development Bank from a Regional Company (PD) to a Limited Liability Company (PT) which has obtained approval from The Minister of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia based on Decree No. 584.63-345 dated April 20, 1999 concerning the ratification of the Regional Regulation for the Province of East Nusa Tenggara No.

In connection with the change in legal entity mentioned above, a Deed of Establishment of a Limited Liability Company for the Regional Development Bank of East Nusa Tenggara No.122 dated April 22, 1999 in the presence of Silvester Joseph Mambaitfeto, SH Notary in Kupang, which was approved by the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Indonesia based on a Ministerial Decree. Justice of the Republic of Indonesia with Decree No. C2-8228.HT.01.01.TH'99 dated May 5, 1999, has been registered in the Company Register at the Kupang Regency Company Registration Office with No.002 / BH.24.12 / V / 1999 dated May 17, 1999 and has been announced in the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia No. 47 dated 11 June 1999, Supplement No. 3491.

In 1999, the Company became one of the Regional Development Banks that entered the Regional Development Bank Recapitalization program because it had a Minimum Capital Adequacy Requirement (KPMM) of less than 8% (eight percent).

Based on the Recapitalization Agreement dated 7 May 1999 signed by and between the Company and the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and Bank Indonesia, as a consequence and Government Regulation No. 84 of 1998 concerning the Recapitalization Program for Commercial Banks and Joint Decree of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia and the Governor of Bank Indonesia No.53 / KMK.017 / 1999, No / 31/12 / KEP / GBI dated 8 February 1999 regarding the Implementation of the Recapitalization Program for Regional Development Banks and Joint Decree of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia and the Governor of Bank Indonesia No.135 / KMK.017 / 1999 and No.32 / KEP / GBI dated 9 April 1999 concerning the Implementation of the Recapitalization Program for Regional Development Banks.

In the context of implementing the call option as referred to in the Joint Decree of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia and the Governor of Bank Indonesia No.53 / KMK.017 / 1999, No / 31 / 12KEP / GBI dated 8 February 1999 and the Letter of the Minister of Finance No. 543 / KMK.06 / 2003 dated 18 December 2003, a Sale and Purchase Agreement of All State Shares and Redemption of State Bonds was implemented at PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Nusa Tenggara Timur on June 30, 2004, the Republic of Indonesia cq the Government of the Republic of Indonesia transferred 46,600 (forty six thousand six hundred) of his shares in the Company to the Provincial Government of East Nusa Tenggara.

The purchase of these shares has been approved by the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia based on letter No.S-173 / MK.06 / 2004 dated 7 June 2004. The Company's Articles of Association have been amended several times, ending with the Deed of Statement of the General Meeting of External Shareholders. Ordinary Number: 43 Dated 18 May 2011 made by Silvester Joseph Mambaitfeto, SH Notary in Kupang who was notified to the Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia based on the Notification Letter on Changes to Company Data Number: AHU-AH.01.10-21595 dated 08 July 2011 and has been registered in the Company Register Number: AHU-00560078.AH.01.09 Year 2011.
