The Tunisian Solidarity Bank (BTS) was created in 1997 at the initiative of the Tunisian State to finance young graduates of higher education and vocational training. It specializes in mesofinance for the promotion of very small enterprises (TPE). It has a capital of 60 million dinars (54% public participation and 46% private participation) with a shareholder base (more than 220,000 shareholders).
