Bauchi State Universal Basic Education Board (BASUBEB)

The Bauchi State Universal Basic Education Board was established in August 2005 to repeal law No. 6 of 1994 that established the State Primary Education Board. Since its Establishment in 1994, BASUBEB has produced eight Executive Chairmen in the persons of Prof Garba Dahuwa Azare (1989- 1991). Alhaji Yerima Babayo Misau (1998 – 1999), Alhaji Babayo Mustapha (1999 – 2004), Alhaji Yusuf Ibrahim (2005 – 2007) Alhaji Abduallahi Dabo (2007 – 2015) and Prof. Yayhya Ibraheem Yero (24th March, 2016 – Date).
