BECATEC is a study, control and technical assistance office, governed by Togolese law, and which operates in the following areas:

• Civil-Engineering-Building;
• Roads and structures;
• Planning and Sanitation;
• Urban and village hydraulics;
• Hydro-agricultural developments;
• Environment (solid and liquid waste);
• Energy (electrification of urban roads, domestic and rural electrification);
• Technical and financial audit;
• Training and sensitization of populations in the use of structures.
