The trade association raw materials and chemical industry (BG RCI) developed from the fusion of the professional associations mining industry, chemistry, leather industry, papermaker, quarry and sugar. She started her work on 1 January 2010. Around 32,000 companies with almost 1.4 million insured members are members of our employers' liability insurance association.

The seat of BG RCI is Heidelberg. The Bochum, Mainz and Langenhagen sites also take over important central administrative tasks in addition to Heidelberg.

District offices in Bochum, Gera, Heidelberg, Cologne, Langenhagen, Mainz and Nuremberg, as well as the branches in Dresden, Halle, Hamburg and Frankfurt, ensure nationwide support for member businesses and insured persons.

The merger has created a powerful solidarity community that will meet the economic and social challenges of the future. The aim is to streamline administrative structures and reduce costs through the use of synergies. 

Above all, however, our member companies now benefit from the expertise and experience of BG RCI employees across all industries.
