Blessed Tree Planters and Agro-distributors Ltd had a humble beginning, starting as asingle man's business enterprise which has successfully now become a middle class company with limited shares liabilities. It was established in 2008 by a consortium of agricultural professionals from various disciplines, Blessed tree planters and Agro-distributors has been actively pursuing a vision of creating a Sustainable agricultural business model to enable, support and empower small and middle class farmers involved in farming activities in Uganda.

BTPAD upgraded and registered a trade mark that plants, processed and sales high quality seeds as crown seeds. Crown seeds produces grain and seed of seeds of maize, beans, rice and cassava cuutings,simsim,sorghum,groundnut,soybeans and cowpeas.These early maturing planting material have contributed to the increased tree cover,food security and income of farmers.

Blessed Tree Planters and Agro Distributors Ltd (Crown Seeds) also provides seedlings to Government, international NGOs,NGOs,Local Governments, and farmers in Uganda and handles big assignments which includes but not limited to plantation establishments, seed production and processing,seedlings preparations, seed collection as well as budding and grafting of use full tree like Oranges,mangoes and avocado seedlings using the expertise of lead team with over 12years of experience in the industry. knowledge and extension services to farmers in Uganda.

BTPAD operates a subsidiary under the trade name Crown seeds with its operational office in Mukono Town on the old Kayunga road in Mukono Municipality, while its Headquarters are located at Mpoma has its main offices in Mukono, with other Regional offices in Namutumba,Mubende, Gulu,Adjuman Masindi, Nakaseke and Iganga districts.
