The Electronic Securities Exchange of Uruguay SA (BEVSA) was established on January 15, 1993. It began operations on September 5, 1994 with 26 public and private financial institutions to generate a space for negotiation and settlement of financial transactions.
This area has the characteristics of being transparent, professional, with equal opportunities and has been developed in a technological platform of first line, focused on the needs of customers.
The technological platform also provides communication and information processing services for financial institutions in the areas of payment systems and risk management.
BEVSA has among its partners and special partners all the Plaza Banks, the Pension Fund Administrators (AFAPs), the Parastatal Savings Banks, the Insurance Bank, and the Central Bank of Uruguay.
