The Global Development Policy Center (GDP Center) at Boston University is a University-wide center in partnership with the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies. The GDP Center’s mission is to advance policy-oriented research for financial stability, human well-being, and environmental sustainability.
To fulfill theirmission, they conduct rigorous policy research; provide a convening place for scholars and stakeholders; engage in policy dialogue with policy-makers, civil society, and media; and offer experiential learning for Boston University students.
Drawing from Boston University professors from across schools and disciplines, the GDP Center conducts policy-oriented research that appears in peer-reviewed journals and books in a variety of languages.
The GDP Center brings the global conversation about development policy to Boston University through events, seminars and workshops that bring together scholars, policymakers and stakeholders.
The GDP Center actively engages with policymakers, civil society and the media in a number of countries and languages through workshops, opinion articles, policy briefs, reports, working papers and blogs.
The Center provides experiential learning to Boston University students, visiting scholars and affiliates who participate in the GDP Center’s research and policy programs.
