Bouygues
About

Founded in 1952, Bouygues is a diversified industrial group with a strong corporate culture. Its businesses focus on two sectors: construction, with Bouygues Construction (building, civil works, energy and services), Bouygues Immobilier (property) and Colas (roads), and telecoms/media, with TF1 and Bouygues Telecom.

In each of its business areas, Bouygues aims to add value to all its products and services through constant innovation while remaining competitive. The Bouygues group’s construction businesses operate in over 80 countries. Major contracts have been won over several years in all parts of the world. Bouygues Construction and Colas generate 45% of their sales on international markets.

Services

Bouygues Construction has developed high-level expertise in the fields of property development, public-private partnerships (PPP) and concessions, in all the countries where it operates. In the property development segment, Bouygues Construction draws on a network of specialist firms and on specific investment funds, especially in the area of BBC low-energy and HQE® (High Environmental Quality) buildings.

Sustainable construction

Involved in projects from design to operation, Bouygues Construction offers its customers a responsible approach which factors in all the technical, environmental and social issues that relate to it. On a technical level, the Group introduces efficient solutions throughout the lifecycle of a building, structure or neighbourhood and makes a long-term commitment to its customers on high levels of performance.

Energy and Services

Businesses which complement the act of construction, energies and services are an integral part of Bouygues Construction’s strategy. The Group is positioned on such high-potential markets as energy efficiency, smart grids and smart and communicating buildings. It designs comprehensive solutions that will generate recurrent revenues and a long-term outlook. ETDE was renamed Bouygues Energies & Services in 2013 to better assert its position as a full-service operator and its complementarity with Bouygues Construction’s design-build activities.

International Markets

International projects are in Bouygues Construction’s DNA. Operating on every continent, the Group is firmly established in many territories through local subsidiaries, but it also participates on a one-off basis in large-scale projects requiring a high level of technical expertise, with support from its central engineering departments.
