Bureau d'Appui en Sante Publique '96 (BASP'96)
Bureau d’Appui en Santé Publique’96 (BASP'96) is a limited liability company registered in Benin (head office) and Burkina Faso (annex). The aim of the BASP'96 NGOassociation is to promote the fight against HIV / AIDS and public health in Burkina Faso and other countries of West and Central Africa.
The organization was created in July 1996 by African expertise, composed of various specialists, working in the health sector . The BASP'96 aims at the development of health systems for the welfare of the communities in the framework of subregional, regional and international cooperation with exchange of experiences and technologies. His policy is to make the most of African skills and he has created a repertoire of resource people molded to the realities of the field in sub - Saharan Africa and mobilizable for any intervention in public health.
BASP'96 is convinced that the health of a community covers all aspects of their lives. To provide effective care, it is not enough to know the diseases or treat them. Above all, it is important to understand lifestyle, habits, behavior and all these variables in order to work better with this community. Participation must be complete at all stages of the management process (identification, prioritization, planning, implementation, evaluation) of their health problems. For this reason, BASP'96 as a Research Office is involved in the development and health of the population , in collaboration with other development partners, particularly those in the health and social sector.
The BASP'96 has many references in terms of project management, public health consultation and training. It also has a wealth of experience in Burkina Faso, Benin , and elsewhere, and a thorough knowledge of these countries and the health challenges facing their populations.See more
