Business Insight is a UK based independent company specialising in providing perils risk models, quote enrichment data and premium analysis software to the Insurance Industry. Their experience in making sense of vast datasets ‘Big data’ through applying highly sophisticated mathematical and statistical analytics coupled with a deep understanding of the insurance market is at the heart of what they do. In essence they help insurance organisations find and implement new insights through their products that are aimed at the core insurer business processes of pricing, underwriting and marketing. Throughout all their work the focus for their products and services is always to have a dramatic, positive impact on a project or an organisation's value.
The team is led by Mark Harrison, a postgraduate mathematician, who has a successful track record in bringing new analytical technologies, solutions and services to the Insurance market. Prior to joining Business Insight Mark held a number of senior leadership roles including Managing Director of ISL and a Director of Experian Insurance Services. The management team is also supplemented by Mike Prentice, previously Managing Director of Experian Insurance Services, and Tony McCallum, previously Chairman of Guy Carpenter and part of the Marsh McLennan senior leadership team.
