Food, being the Group’s initial business, has been developed into an integrated end-to-end value chain. The Group has successfully built up a strong, extensive and multi-channel nation-wide distribution network covering more than 90% of the country. In 2008, CDSG entered into the retail market by opening the Capital Hypermarket, followed by a chain of convenience stores called G&G (grab& go). With the launch in 2013 of its flagship Capital City mixed-use development in Yangon, CDSG is fast gaining recognition as a major real estate developer as well.
