Centre for Civil Society and Democracy in Syria, is an independent and non-profit Syrian Center, was founded on 1/12/2011 by a group of Syrian activists abroad and at home with the following aims:

• Promoting the values ​​of democracy within Syrian society, and raising awareness among Syrian citizens

• Dissemination of civic culture, and devising new ways to connect to the community

• Removing the remnants of tyranny and its consequences on civil society in Syria. This is done through the strategy of real data analysis and the formulation of solutions based on this.

• Removing existing obstacles to the emergence of democratic civil thought and working to provide all support needed to mobilise a civil and democratic society in Syria
