CISDI was founded in Jakarta on December 8, 2014 by Diah Saminarsih. Committed to contributing to health development in Indonesia, CISDI has launched a vision to create an equal, empowered and prosperous Indonesian society with a healthy paradigm for the achievement of Goal 3 SDGs
Pencerah Nusantara is one of the CISDI programs that focuses primarily on improving the basic health service system in Indonesia. This goal is translated into activities to strengthen basic health services in remote and health problems. As a result of this achievement, the Pencerah Nusantara program won a Silver Award at the 2015 Open Government Awards held in Mexico. In 2015, the program was adopted by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia into a national scale program called Nusantara Sehat.
CISDI's commitment to contribute to improving the quality of health in Indonesia continues to be developed by entering through other health issues. In 2015, CISDI initiated the Creative Generation: Mobilization Nusantara Program, an education program on the impact of smoking on junior high school-aged children using a peer educator approach. Considering the importance of the teacher's role as a role model for sustainable behavior change, in 2018 CISDI developed the cigarette harm education program into a Healthy and Creative Generation Program (PROGRESIVE), a smoking hazard impact education program by integrating the material impact of cigarette harm through the junior high school curriculum . At present, more than 600 children in 10 Jakarta and Bogor schools have become beneficiaries of the education of the dangers of smoking.
