Centre for Social and Market Research, (CSMR) was established in February, 2012, with a view to provide in-depth and analytical findings while showing strength as well as limitations and gaps of the programs/projects to GO, NGOS, donors, and other development partners and making future plans in this regard. CSMR has got resources/persons who have vast experience in work with GOB and, different NGOs, INGOS, donors, and UN organization. CSMR always deploys right persons for the project so that it can provide the best service to the clients. It believes that quality information is the ultimate outcome of the research. To ensure quality information, CSMR gives more emphasis on fields data collection and training. Back check, accompanied by supervisors/researchers, response verification, respondent verification, spot check is done to ensure quality information. Field check by high management/researchers of the project is a common practice of CSMR. We believe that researchers should have the insight into the project and views about the target audience. As regards the training, CSMR believes in and practices participatory approach. Use of audio, video slides, OHP, and multimedia is ensured to make training programs more effective. More practical orientation, such as feedback, pilot tests, mock tests, and group exercises, are done while conducting training for the interviewers and researchers.
