About

The government of Cameroon established the CFCE for strengthening the private sector in general and the promotion of SMEs in particular.

CFCE was created to:

    • Prepare the draft of regulations relating to the creation of the Business Formalities Centres;
    • Collect information on all the formalities required for the creation, processing and termination of business activities;
    • Propose a single document procedure for the identification of companies.

CFCE has offices in Yaounde, Douala, Bafoussam, Garoua and Bamenda in Cameroon. 

 

 

Supporting SMEs

Among the measures put in place to support promoters are:

- Support the creation of SMEs, this requires the simplification of procedures, the establishment of CFCE, reducing the time of creation of SMEs, dissemination of corporate culture;

- Support the development of SMEs through general technical support, financial, facilitation of access to finance; upgrade by strengthening the competitiveness of SMEs;

- Support for funding through the establishment of organizations financing (bank for SMEs and an agricultural bank are being created);

- An institutional support across the bottom of SME promotion and the Chamber of Commerce, Industries Mines and Crafts (an agency for the promotion of SMEs coures of creation).
