About

Background

The Center for Analysis and Measurement of Social Welfare, AC CAMBS is an association committed to the development of Mexico, through scientific research and the application of new measurement techniques and conducting population surveys to measure and analyze the well-being of the population of Mexico in national territory and abroad.

 

Furthermore, CAMBS is committed to making known to the general public the results obtained by analyzing the well-being of the population of Mexico in order to contribute to the debate on issues related to the development of the Mexican population, to influence the decision-making by authorities and to facilitate the formation of viable political proposals for the social development of Mexico.

 

With the data obtained, CAMBS aims to contribute to the application of new techniques for measuring and carrying out population surveys to the social development of Mexico, as well as in all areas of human activity

 

Objectives

Consolidate ourselves as a recognized research group specialized in social issues and public policy on the well-being of the Mexican population.

Generate statistical information on poverty and inequality, migration, education and the labor market, socioeconomic levels of life, population health, rural electrification, sustainability and community development, as well as any area or subject related to the social development of Mexico.

Promote the development of new techniques to analyze the social development of Mexico, as well as in all areas of human activity
