Founded in 1972 with the aim of generating knowledge for the economic and social development of the country, the Research Center of the Universidad del Pacífico (CIUP) is an organization that brings together professors-researchers from various disciplines. They apply innovative research methods, perform high quality multidisciplinary research and disseminate research results that address significant challenges for Peruvian society. In addition, CIUP forms new generations of researchers through its programs of practitioners and research assistants.
After more than four decades of work, CIUP has produced nearly two thousand books, published by the Editorial Fund of the Universidad del Pacífico, and has organized a number of academic and professional events in which the most relevant topics have been discussed. of national life. In this time, its field of action has been extended to seven areas of study that stand out for their significant contributions to public administration, private companies and international organizations.
