The National Technological Center for Food and Preservation (CTC) has its origins in the Vegetable Conservation Industry Research Association (AICV), founded in 1962. Subsequently, in 1990, and as a consequence of the implementation of March of the STRIDE program of the European Union, the Institute of Development of the Region of Murcia acquired the commitment to build and equip a Technological Center that would serve as basic infrastructure for the technological assistance to the companies of the Agrifood Sector.
