CentroNía's commitment is to provide affordable and accessible high quality child care education to low-income, working families. Through their multiple child care sites, they are responding to one of the most important and challenging essential services facing the residents of the District of Columbia and the greater metropolitan region.

CentroNía is a community-based organization, nationally recognized for its award-winning programs in the field of early childhood education, professional development to educators, and family support services in a bilingual and multicultural environment to more than 2,500 low-income children and families. Their holistic approach and wraparound services ensure that the children and families they serve receive the support they need to succeed academically, develop a strong sense of community, and live healthy and active lives.

For more than 35 years, their programs have grown and expanded to meet the evolving needs of our children, families, and the residents of the communities they serve.
