Founded in 2001, CFK Africa works in partnership with communities to fight extreme poverty in Kenyan informal settlements through integrated and innovative youth leadership and community health initiatives. CFK Africa's approach to participatory community development has been rooted in the conviction that sustainable impact and solutions to poverty are only possible when the communities most affected by it are the real change-makers.
CFK Africa is registered as an NGO with the NGO Coordination Board in Kenya and as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in the US. CFK Africa is governed by a joint Kenya-US Board of Directors and operates in accordance with the requirements of all relevant regulatory authorities.
