Navarre Chamber of Commerce and Industry was formally constituted on April 3, 1899. It is a public corporation that represents and promotes the general interests of commerce, industry and services of Navarra, contributing to the economic development of Navarra. It’s members are all firms and freelancers who have a commercial or industrial activity in our community. The number of companies forming part of the census of the House in 2008 (latest available) is 45,457.

In order to fulfill its purpose, the Chamber has commissioned a series of public functions such as:

• Being an advisory body to the public authorities
• Develop activities to support and stimulate the internationalization of the companies from Navarre
• Collaborate with the educational authorities of the Autonomous Region in the management of practical training for the workplace. Handle public assistance programs for companies in collaboration with the Administration
• Commercial Arbitration Act
• Report on projects and rules issued by the Administration that directly affect the general interests of commerce and industry.
• Any other that contributions to the promotion and defense of general interests of industry and commerce.
