About

Children’s AIDS Fund Uganda (CAFU) is an NGO registration No. (S.5914/5933) with Uganda National NGO Board, Ministry of Internal Affairs with principal place of business on Plot.36,Ntinda II Road, Naguru and postal address, P. O.Box7633,Kampala–Uganda.

Establishment

CAFU’s establishment was strongly supported by Ministry of health, Centers for disease control and prevention (CDC) and AIDS Relief Uganda consortium leadership to provide strategic direction, program oversight, project management and implementation, partner’s capacity development in finance and compliance management, governance and health systems strengthening, human resources for health planning and development, monitoring and evaluation in the scale up of access to comprehensive HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment services in the grants management and implementation of the Track 1.0 U.S. government cooperative agreements- with funding from President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).

VISION

CAFU’s vision is an “AIDS free and productive generation”

“To limit the suffering of HIV impacted families through equitable access to comprehensive HIV/AIDS services and supporting the development of healthy and productive families”
