Chilypep is a nationally registered youth empowerment charity based in Sheffield, where they work to empower and improve the lives of children and young people.
Their work is across three areas, with young people, with organisations and training and consultancy. They work to promote and protect the rights of some of the most vulnerable young people in Sheffield and South Yorkshire. In their fifteen years as an organisation they have worked with many different groups of young people including young carers, LGBT groups and individuals, black and minority ethnic children and young people with mental health issues to create effective campaigns that champion the rights of those most affected by policies and services. They work with all young people to help them realise the power of their own voices and become empowered, active citizens.
They also work with organisations across the city and the country to make sure that young people are served in a meaningful and impactful way by their schools, public services and communities.
