Association Coexister, the interconvictional movement of young people, believers and non-believers act for the promotion of living together.
Since 2009, Coexister has chosen to transform convective diversity into a vector of social cohesion and social innovation, thanks to the local path of Active Coexistence.
Coexister is an apartheid and non-denominational youth movement that promotes Active Coexistence by using a method of peer education with young people between the ages of 15 and 35.
Active coexistence is an interactive method that creates living together, based on differences. The differences complement each other and promote the understanding of the other and the self through the interaction between identity and otherness. Thus, social cohesion is created no longer "despite" but "thanks" to differences. For the young people of Coexister, the course in three successive stages, lived systematically in common, makes it possible to implement this coexistence:
* The dialogue that allows you to get to know each other
* Solidarity that goes beyond the simple framework of dialogue by acting together, serving society
* Awareness that allows these young people to become agents of active coexistence.
Make groups live in the field around three areas of activity: dialogue, solidarity and awareness.
