The Collective for the Analysis of Security with Democracy AC (CASEDE) is a plural space responsible for analyzing, exchanging ideas, reflecting, discussing and proposing alternatives on security, in accordance with the values of democracy and respectful of human rights. It is made up of a group of prestigious researchers, academics, governmental and non-governmental experts, members of civil society organizations and different research centers.
Likewise, CASEDE is an independent association, where the space for dialogue is based on the principle of freedom of expression. As part of its activities, the Collective organizes, develops and teaches courses, seminars, conferences, round tables, research projects and advice on security. These works materialize in books, various publications or articles available online when copyright allows.
Finally, CASEDE regularly, freely and responsibly expresses its opinions about the national or international political situation through pronouncements, press releases, newsletters, forums and other means of dissemination to contribute to a better understanding of the factors that influence security, democracy and human rights.
