General Objectives of CESPT

1. Satisfy the current and future needs of drinking water in quantity.
2. Optimize the collection, storage, and use of wastewater to avoid contamination and take advantage of them as sources of water endowment.

Economic, Social and Service Objectives

1. Have economic resources to meet the needs of Water and Sanitary Sewerage.
2. Optimize the collection, storage and use of water.
3. Strengthen the hydraulic infrastructure of the city.

Structure and Organization

Administration: it is administered by a Board of Directors, made up of 8 members.

1. Governor of the State or his Representative.
2. Secretary of Infrastructure and Urban Development of the State.
3. Secretary of Planning and Finance of the State.
4. Municipal President of Tijuana.
5. Municipal President of Playas de Rosarito.
6. Two Representatives of the Private Initiative and a Citizen Representative ..

The Board of Directors appoints a Director-General who represents the Organization.

Function of the Board of Directors: to approve the annual program and budget for Expenses and Balance, before being submitted to the State Congress for final approval; authorize and follow up on some CESPT programs and projects.
