Community Development Library(CDL) has been carrying out development activities with its various components since its inception 1n 1980. Information and awareness raising are in the forefront of CDL's activities. CDL has been carrying out its activities with the help of Central Library Documentation and Information Centre (CELDIC)in Dhaka, 24 Rural Information Resource Centres (RIRC) all over the country, Research and Publication (R&P) Program, Development Resource Promotion Centre (DRPC) and Chetana Bikash Kendra (CBK), a school for slum children of Dhaka.
