It was born in 1890 at the initiative of a group of Salvadorans, with the purpose of distributing and commercializing electrical energy. CAESS currently distributes electrical energy to more than 600 thousand clients connected to its distribution network, in a territorial extension of 4,615 square kilometers in urban and rural areas of San Salvador (northern zone), Chalatenango, Cuscatlán and Cabañas.
CAESS has 129 years of operations and is made up of a highly trained workforce that dedicates all its effort so that the electrical service is present 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
