Computas is a Norwegian supplier of IT solutions and consulting services in technological innovation. They deliver value-creating and socially beneficial solutions to both the public and private sectors, and have particular expertise in public administration, justice, supervision, health, logistics, oil and gas. We work with everything from apps that save lives and award-winning case management solutions, to data analysis, artificial intelligence and comprehensive, cloud-based innovation projects.
Their head office is located in Akersgata in central Oslo. They also have offices in Copenhagen, as well as a delivery unit in Bucharest, Romania - Computas Development Center.
Their Story
Computas was established in 1985 as a subsidiary of Det Norske Veritas (now DNV GL). As the first company in Norway, we delivered systems based on applied artificial intelligence, both to Veritas and other customers within industry and public administration. This has been a sustainable foundation for the development and growth of the company, and has renewed timeliness through today's focus on artificial intelligence, machine learning and cloud-based solutions. Today they have nearly 300 employees and are 100% owned by our employees.
