Support to the private sector of developing economies contributes to their emergence. Since its creation in 1973, CPCCAF, through the consular chambers of which it is composed, is a stakeholder in this pragmatic approach to development in Africa, which involves companies, the only ones able to catalyze private investment and promote locally, job creation and growth.
The primary purpose of CPCCAF is to create and organize between the consular organizations of the countries that make it up, bilateral (or multilateral) cooperation in all the fields that are part of the development of the entrepreneurial world.
By contributing to the development of the African private sector, CPCCAF is part of the global partnership for poverty eradication and sustainable development as set out in the post-2015 agenda of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. CPCCAF's action also gives greater visibility to the role of small businesses in growth.
