Conflict Management Consulting (CMC) provides advisory, monitoring and evaluation services to international organizations, governments and civil society. It frequently operates in institutionally and economically fragile, conflict and post-conflict environments. CMC is based in Belgium (HQ) and Armenia.

CMC has provided expertise and conducted complex evaluations in the field of stabilization and peacebuilding, working in the Middle East, Asia and Africa at the country and regional level. • -Advisory services in the fields of peacebuilding, conflict analysis, mapping and socio-economic studies
  
  Analysis of political and socio-economic situation in a country is based on participatory fieldwork in conflict and post-conflict regions. This research also leads to the application of innovative concepts, tools and methodologies in defence, diplomacy and development.
  
  
• -Quantitative and qualitative surveys in active conflict zones
  
  Perception surveys are based on sound social research methods and include household surveys, key informant interviews and focus group discussions. They are conducted in teams of international and local experts in order to ensure maximum access, conflict-sensitive and culturally adequate methods.
  
  
• -Development and implementation of M&E frameworks for a wide variety of programmes and projects
  
  M&E frameworks strengthen international interventions, as well as domestic strategies and programmes. They increase accountability, ownership and effectiveness, while also enabling the prioritization of resources. Activities include participatory development of results frameworks, performance indicators and reporting mechanisms, as well as training staff on their application.
  
  
• -Mentoring, capacity building and quality assurance
  
  On-the-job mentoring allows local partners to acquire new skills and apply international standards. These activities help to build long-term national capacities necessary to engage in peacebuilding and conflict management. Working directly and continuously with these stakeholders also enables quality assurance of all outputs and the reflection of local perspectives in the analysis.
  
  
• -Evaluation of programmes and projects using qualitative and quantitative methodologies
  
  Performance evaluations and impact assessments in the field of peacebuilding and stabilization requires a set of skills for participatory field research and risk management. Mid-term and final evaluations are conducted at the project, policy or regional programme level, reviewing lessons learned, identifying good practices and providing recommendations for future interventions.
