The Council for Regulation, Stabilization and Development of the Coffee-Cocoa sector in short: Coffee-Cocoa Council, is created by ordinance N ° 2011-481 of December 28, 2011 fixing the rules relating to the marketing of coffee and cocoa.
The Coffee-Cocoa Council is supervised by the Ministry of Agriculture at the technical level and by the Ministry of Economy and Finance at the financial level.
The Café-Cacao Council is administered on a joint basis between the State and the inter-branch organization within a Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is made up of twelve (12) members appointed by decree taken by the Minister's Council: six (6) representatives of the State and six (6) representatives of the interprofession of the coffee-cocoa sector and the professional organization of banks and insurance.
The Café-Cacao Council is chaired by a Managing Director assisted by two (2) Deputy Managing Directors, one in charge of marketing and the other in charge of production, sustainability and technical operations.
