Consia is a private Danish registered company that undertakes international consultancy tasks with transfer of technology to developing and emerging countries. Since the company was established in April 2000, Consia has undertaken over 200 technical assignments in over 30 countries in Asia, Europe, Latin America and Africa. We have the vision to contribute to the reinforcement of national capacity, and to promote sustainable development, within the following core sectors:
Within these sectors Consia places emphasis on organisational strengthening and institutional development through local participatory, technology-transfer projects and human resource development.
Consia is a member of the Association of Consulting Engineers in Denmark (FRI) and is registered with the main international financial institutions. For long-term sustainability, Consia Consultants normally cooperates with domestic consultants in order to ensure technology transfer, to build national capacity and facilitate local participation.
