Cofarca is the leading pharmaceutical distribution cooperative in the province of Las Palmas. We distribute daily to the pharmacies of Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, regardless of their location or demographic characteristics, following a solidarity pharmaceutical distribution model. In this way, we develop a key role in the health system of the Canary Islands, with the commitment and responsibility of guaranteeing the patient access to the medication at any pharmacy in the province. The Cooperativa Farmacéutica Canaria, Cofarca, was founded in 1935 by a group of pharmacists from the province. They conceived the idea of ​​forming a Cooperative created by and for the pharmacists, with the objective of coping together with the threats of the pharmaceutical market defending the pharmacy office model. With more than 80 years of history, Cofarca is a solid and leading company that is always in continuous evolution. We combine our traditional values ​​with a business approach that is highly oriented towards innovation and continuous improvement, with one of the most modern warehouses in the Canary Islands, with the aim of guaranteeing excellence in service to the more than 370 cooperative pharmacies in the province.
