The National Human Rights Coordinator (CNDDHH) is a coalition of civil society organizations that work in the defense, promotion and education of human rights in Peru.
Since its establishment in 1985, the CNDDHH has established itself as the first reference institution in Latin America that brings together a group of human rights organizations in a country. Currently, the National Human Rights Coordinator has a Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN), and is accredited to participate in the activities of the Organization of American States (OAS).
Mission
Promote in the country a culture of integral human rights and peace, put on the public agenda problems and proposals for human rights solutions, and work towards the consolidation of democratic institutions.
