Corporate Responsibility (CORE) Coalition
About

CORE is the UK civil society coalition on corporate accountability. It works with its partner organisations to advance the protection of human rights and the environment with regard to the global operations of UK companies, by promoting a stronger regulatory framework, higher standards of conduct, compliance with the law, and improved access to remedy for those harmed by the activities of UK companies.

Its core funding currently comes from the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust and the Sigrid Rausing Trust. Since 2012 it has also received grants from the Andrew Wainwright Reform Trust, the  Polden-Puckham Charitable Foundation, Humanity United, the Tinsley Foundation and Leigh Day. Details of coalition partners’ current contributions for financial year 2016/17 can be found here.

Its 2014 access to justice project was co-funded by the European Commission’s DG-Justice.
