The company's mission, in the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire and abroad, is to monitor the management of electrical energy movements as well as the project management of the works falling to the State as 'granting authority.

For this purpose, the company takes all the necessary steps to:

• Electricity supply and demand planning, in coordination with the Ministry of Energy
• Project management of investments in the extension, reinforcement and renewal of the distribution and rural electrification transmission network
• Monitoring the management of the functions of purchase, transport and movement of electrical energy
• The administrative, accounting and financial management of all elements forming the public and private domain, the works and equipment constituting the assets and capital assets of the State
• The management of the operation of the licensed service
• Project management of works relating to infrastructures, works and equipment in the electricity sector
• Management in the name and on behalf of the State of the fee provided for in the public service concession agreement for the production, transmission, distribution, import and export of electricity
• The maintenance of the consolidated accounts and the control of the financial balance of the electricity sector.
