"Creative Tunisia" is a support platform for entrepreneurial cooperation in the cultural and creative industries which works to strengthen the productivity and competitiveness of beneficiary companies in a particular field.
The project offers companies, organized in clusters - geographic concentrations of interconnected companies, suppliers and associated institutions - a technical assistance program enabling them to build their capacities, by encouraging entrepreneurial cooperation, by improving products, but also by facilitating access to local and foreign markets and by promoting cross-border partnerships, thus contributing to the development of an entire region.
Supported by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and funded by the European Union and the Italian Development Cooperation, the project "Development of clusters in the cultural and creative industries in the southern Mediterranean" or "Creative Mediterranean" covers a wide range of trades, including ceramics, mosaic and crafts.
The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) is the specialized agency of the United Nations responsible for promoting sustainable industrial development in developing countries and economies in transition. Through the mobilization of international resources and expertise, the organization works to stimulate the development of the private sector to make it more competitive and by establishing lasting links between small businesses, their business partners and support institutions.See more
