CRÉOCÉAN is a French company created by the merger of CREO, founded in 1948 and ECOCEAN, founded in 1987.
An IFREMER subsidiary until 1997, now part of KERAN (500 employees, project management and planning), CRÉOCÉAN (64 employees, E 8.7 M turnover in 2014) offers a comprehensive range of services focused on the protection, development and management of coastal and marine areas with a constant emphasis on integrated and sustainable management.
Its expertise includes geology, geophysics, hydrodynamics, sedimentology, biology and ecology, and management of environmental data. The major advantage of CRÉOCÉAN lies in its ability to deal, in an integrated way, with all aspects of oceanography from the early stages of on-site measurements to the completion of projects
Creocean offers its multidisciplinary expertise, in France and abroad, to give a better understanding of the coastline and offshore marine environments. As a former subsidiary of IFREMER, Creocean is closely linked to scientific environments (CNRS, Universities, Engineering Schools, etc.) and continues to work on research and technological innovation.
Alongside other companies in the Keran group (independent group employing 500 workers, turnover of €42M), we share a global approach to coastal and offshore planning projects. Together, we provide a complete offer, constantly striving for integrated, sustainable planning and management.
