Criola is a civil society organization with more than 25 years of experience in defending and promoting the rights of black women. Founded in 1992, the organization works to build a society where values of justice, equity and solidarity are fundamental. For almost three decades, Criola reaffirms that the transformative action of black women is essential for the well-being of all Brazilian society.
MISSION: To instrument women, adolescents and black girls to face racism, sexism, lesbophobia and transphobia. And for the development of actions aimed at improving the living conditions of the black population and of black women in particular.
VISION: They seek the insertion of black women as agents of transformation, contributing to the construction of a society founded on values of justice, equity and solidarity, in which the presence and contribution of black women are welcomed as a good of humanity.
